Every vehicle on the job needs its own policy.
Personal auto insurance excludes business use. Commercial auto covers vehicles owned, leased, or regularly used for your business — protecting you, your drivers, third parties, and cargo from collision, liability, and physical damage claims.

Common Questions
What clients ask before they bind
My employee drives their own car for work — am I covered?
Hired and non-owned auto (HNOA) coverage extends your liability protection to employee-owned vehicles used for business purposes. Without it, a claim during a work errand could fall back on you.
How do I add a new vehicle mid-term?
Email your advisor. Coverage can typically be bound same-day and the policy is endorsed to include the new unit. Don't wait — a vehicle driven uninsured, even briefly, creates significant exposure.
Does commercial auto cover my tools in the van?
Tools and equipment in the vehicle are generally not covered under auto — they fall under Commercial Property or Inland Marine. Your advisor will ensure the right form covers them.
